GENERAL

The course is divided into 3 modules that build on each other. After successful completion of all 3 modules, the participant receives a certificate that opens the door for advanced training or further courses.

TRAINING CONTENT MODULE 1

Theory: Legal requirements, wound ballistics, possible equipment, general safety requirements for handling handguns

Practice: Gearcheck, ready postures, shooting posture, precision shooting, series shooting, focusing shooting, forced magazine change

TRAINING CONTENT MODULE 2

Practice: Shooting from various postures, tactical magazine changes, clearing inhibitions, one-handed gun handling

TRAINING CONTENT MODULE 3

Practice: Shooting with and around covers, infight shooting, movement shooting, multiple targets

REQUIREMENTS

• Legal document on firearms
• Completion of basic module (Exceptions only after personal consultation with the SKAAT team)
• Owner of a pistol or revolver
• Safe handling of firearms

• Arrival: 15 minutes before course start at the latest
• Cost: € 250,- per module per person
• Course size: max. 8 persons, 4 per trainer

EQUIPMENT

Note: Course takes place outdoors in all weather conditions!

• Comfortable & durable outdoor clothing
• Footwear with a grippy sole
• Safety glasses
• Gloves
• Hearing protection
• Knee pads (if needed)

WEAPONS & HOLSTERS

• Handgun suitable for carrying
• Holster concealed on belt or inside waistband holster
• Magazine pouches on belt
• Jacket to wear over it
• For duty weapon carriers: "duty holster" (holster that is worn open, i.e. visible)
• 2-3 spare magazines
